£3 a month will buy one hot meal each for a husband and wife at a communal centre. Last year, donations from WJR provided 146,791 communal meals in Ukraine.
£5 a month will buy four meals on wheels to elderly residents in Ukraine who are unable to reach a central point for a hot meal, or are incapable of cooking for themselves. In 2006, 1,373 individuals in WJR supported areas of Ukraine received 317,080 meals.
£24 a month will buy three fresh food packages which allows individuals and families to cook for themselves and gives them provisions that they otherwise couldn't afford. A typical package includes dry goods as well as eggs, beef, chicken, fish, milk products, vegetables and fruit.
£50 a month, or £600 a year, will change a child's life in one of the children's homes we support. The money will mean that you will feed, clothe and support a child's education for a year.
