Originally offering shelter to 50 girls, this Children’s Home has expanded rapidly and its school now comprises of a kindergarten, primary and secondary school classes for children up to 16 years, as well as a special needs facility.

The curriculum covers both secular and Jewish education. Additionally, 60 boys of post Bar Mitzvah age are benefiting from its schooling and this will expand to 100 in the coming months.

Basic needs such as meals, healthcare and social support are provided free of charge at this community and social centre in Moscow. There are a total of 149 children in the schools.

In 2008-9, WJR is providing funds to cover all costs for ten children with particular needs. This covers basic education as well as psychologist and dedicated teacher costs.
